Coving is priced and ordered in metres. This large swan neck plaster coving has a drop of 170mm and a projection of 190mm as was the fashion in Victorian times. It projects far further across the ceiling versus the length it extends down the wall; we also have smaller version of this coving identical in every detail with a drop of 100mm (MPC065).

If you are looking for authentic Victorian cornice for a period property and your ceilings are high enough (9-10 ft+ it is certainly worth ordering a sample of this and for lower ceilings, MPC065 will give you exactly the same effect. The video shows swan neck cornice fitted in the bedrooms of a large five bed-roomed Victorian house in Cheshire. The external corners are particularly stylish.

If you measure your room(s) and order an exact amount of coving then one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer pieces of coving are used wherever possible as this will create a better professional finish for your room. This coving comes in 2.3m lengths.
